International Solidarity Movement to Stop Crimes Against Humanity in Iran




To my dear Iranian compatriots and all those who care about freedom and justice,




In the past ten days alone, dozens of Iranians have been executed by the government bodies of the clerical regime that currently rules Iran.




In Urmia, our fabled City of Waters, and where its lake dried up as the result of the clerical regime’s mismanagement, the government executed Habibullah Golparipour, a young and brave Iranian Kurd.




Recently, agents of the regime mass murdered defenseless prisoners on baseless accusations as revenge for the killings of seventeen border patrols by a group called Jishul Adl.




In Saghez, the City of our Champions, they executed another Kurdish son of Iran, Shirko Moarefi without a fair, just and proper trial.




To those of you in the international community who might not have been closely following the tragic tale of Iran, it is important to know that sham trials and summary executions - crimes against humanity - began as soon as the clerical regime seized control of Iran in 1979. In the name of God and Islam, agents of the regime commenced their executions of my fellow Iranians on the roof of the Refah School in Tehran, a secondary school. And so began the Islamic Republic's killing machine, which continues unabated for 34 years and has only accelerated since Rouhani was chosen to be president by the Supreme Leader Khamenei. For those of you who think Rouhani has any authority, know that the real power in Iran and man responsible for this evil is Ayatollah Khamenei, along with the other unelected members of the Supreme Council.




For three decades, the arms of state currently controlled by Ayatollah Khamenei have continued to create baseless and false accusations against Iranians based on Shariah laws, usually accusing my fellow Iranians of being involved with drugs, apostasy, spying, corruption, and antagonism - all charges that carry the death penalty. The government hangs our children under 18 in savage public displays meant to intimidate others who may dare challenge the regime.




Before the revolution if 1979, Iran had an enviable GDP that made its economy one of the fastest growing in the world. Since the clerical regime took control of the nation, they have lorded over an abysmal and broken economy, while at the same time putting Iran at number one on the list of executions globally. It is truly shocking to see the disastrous turn our nation has taken.




No government has the right to use the death penalty as a means for its own survival. The clerical regime running Iran has no legitimacy and its end must come soon at the hands of the Iranian people.




The duty of a government is to provide and protect the security of its citizens and must not put the security of its own before the security of the individual citizens. The control of crime in society, rehabilitation of criminals, establishment of justice and observation of human rights according to the international conventions on human rights, the provision of freedom and security are responsibilities that all departments of governments must bear.




The Western powers currently negotiating on the nuclear issue with the clerical regime - without even mentioning the countless human rights abuses in Iran - will bear some culpability for the executions that continue in Iran.




It is up to us to remind the progressive societies around the world that they can play an important part in abolishing the death penalty and the banning of the stoning in the twenty first century and to ask their citizens and politicians to support the human rights for all Iranians.




Grieving mothers, fathers, daughters and sons, brothers and sisters of the murdered border patrols, Kurds, Baluchis, Azeris, and all those killed by the clerical regime must know they are not alone. We the people of Iran and others around the world, hand-in-hand, shall not let Western powers turn a blind eye to continuing human rights atrocities in Iran whilst trying to craft a deal on the nuclear issue with the clerical regime desperate for money.




I pronounce the week commencing 16 November through 23 November 2013 (25 Aban until 2 Azar 1392) as the "National Mourning Week". We shall light candles and hold a vigil for our children and those who have been murdered by the clerical regime.




Say "No to Death Penalty, No to Violence."
